Nathan Shanahan is an award-winning storyteller, writer, director, and teacher. His movies include Only for the Night, 63 Bank Street, (Ambrosia Film Festival Best Cinematography and Audience Choice) and A Modern Romance. His work has screened at film festivals across the country.
Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Mr. Shanahan received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Filmmaking at the UNC School of the Arts, where he studied with Eric Eason. His work explores love, meaning, and the search for both.
He has also taught storytelling at his alma mater, written for OffOffOnline in New York City, and directed for PBS, Disney, and Atrium Health.
